Mark’s A Star

Last Friday saw the Round 3 adjudication of the NIPA Interclub competition, hosted by Ards Camera Club.

This was a themed round and the images had to depict a ‘Song or book title’. There was quite a variety of photographs on display, ranging from ‘ordinary’ photos that happened to fit the theme right up to specially commissioned photos. Some photographers put a lot of thought in to this round and this paid dividends for the club.

We had quite a few photos that fell just one mark short of gaining a star but an excellent image by Mark McConnell achieved a well deserved star. His image depicted ‘The End Of The World As We Know It’ by REM.

This helped the club move from 10th position up to 8th.
